Cynthia Plaster Caster : The Ultimate Groupie not content with collecting autographs of her favourite artists started making plaster casts of their tackle. She recently added Jake to her museum and the session was featured in Q Magazine.

Dice Man, The : A book about a strange obsessed man who decides to break out of the rat race by letting dice control his life, and incidentally is Jake's favourite read. The Dice Man is written by Luke Rhinehart and is a classic funny sad perverted confusing intoxicating read.
Diceworld : A Channel 4 program about Luke Rhinehart's books, The Dice Man and The Return of the Dice Man, which included Jake who has announced these as his favourite books.
Duchess :The follow up single to Strumpet, originally a hit for the Stranglers, taken from the EMI cover tribute album to other label stars, as a celebration of their centenary.

Faithfull, Marianne: Jake has written a selection of songs for Marianne's new album, due out later this year.

Gammon, Mr : MLS's official personal tailor, responsible for most of Jake's wild suits.
Gia Carangi : 'Empire Line' recounts the ups and downs of bisexual teenage model Gia Carangi, a notorious heroin user, who subsequently contracted AIDS and tragically died in the early eighties. Recently, the latest topic of conversation in the modelling world is the resurgence of drugs, particularly heroin among a clique of models who, in a macabre homage reportedly call themselves Gia's Girls in her honour. Homosexuality :A controversial topic, at least one member of MLS is homosexual apparently, although Jake's personal sexuality and feelings cause more pointless discussion than necessary. Just don't ask...who really cares anyway??
Horsey, horsey : (from Strumpet) - slang for posh, green wellied English girl

IT Records : The Lloyd-Webber owned record label MLS signed for in 1999, the first release being It's A Girl Thing.

King of Kissingdom : According to Jake, it's not a particular person - it's "an anthem of false hopes & broken promises, influenced by the overwhelming confidence of the E generation" - from S&V newsletter.
Kula Shaker :Allegedly NOT MLS's favourite band by a long way. Rumours that Wallpaper contains references to Crispian, 'He has a guitar as a sitar' have been strongly denied.

Marriage Blister : A song that's about failing relationships, from being wonderful to something that can end as a sad, pathetic event where the two sides end up beating each other up both physically and mentally.
Minogue, Dannii :Jake managed to fulfill a lengthy fantasy of his at the Gay Pride '97 festival in London, by getting introduced to Dannii and introducing her to his charms and lips.
Mornington Crescent : (First, now deleted album) - Jake used to work at Camden Palace in London which happened to be right outside the Mornington Crescent Tube station
Mother Tongue :MLS's first record company, from Girl A, Girl B, Boy C, to Mornington Crescent but no more as Parlophone kindly took Jake and Co. under their wing, and spend a lot of resources promoting them!! honest!!

November 5th : A song about one of Jake's friends who died of AIDS just before a bonfire night. Jake watched the fireworks exploding in the sky and felt some kind of spiritual belief in a kind of afterlife.

Parlophone : The 'saviour' record label that picked MLS from the Mother Tongue dropping, released Sparkle onwards until Duchess...then dropped them again
Perfect Day :A rumoured single just before Duchess was released, scrapped due to other commitments.
Phone Number :The phone number, 0171 971 0427, appearing on the cover of the Strumpet singles are for a 'Sex Line' featuring Rox and Lucy. The saucy twosome give information about releases and gigs and possibly a little more if you are that way inclined!
Pink Poodle :Jake and his new friend appear in the video for Duchess walking in the Las Vegas desert.
Pink Toothbrush :The Southend nightclub where MLS regularly played before they crashed onto the popular scene with Sparkle, the second time!

Soccer 6 : The charity football competition played at Chelsea each year with teams made up of the Music Industry. Jake, Simon and Paul are regulars in Fat Les' team and were the 1999 champions.
Strumpet : Jake apparently accidentally saved a trumpet track on his computer and added the 'S' and seeing as Rox is one he stuck with the name!
Sunshine Tours :The London based MLS fan transport service to gigs outside the city, with dinky little badge for members.

Theremin : The weird musical instrument with an aerial used for the background whining in the Strumpet single, as featured on T.F.I. Friday
Tinnitus :An unfortunate affliction causing a constant 'ringing' in the ears, more unfortunately it has lead to the quitting of Ben from MLS.
Top Trumps :MLS have rejuvenated the 80's craze by producing a set featuring the band and guest stars such as Mr. Boyd. Two cards were given away with CD1 of KOK with the full set on sale at concerts.
