Cambridge Junction 1997

Support at the gig came from one of My Life Story's more regular partners on the road, Gretschen Hofner. Due to the layout of the junction I was at the bar during their act though and didn't find out until after they had finished.

After Gretschen Hofner we were treated to 20 minutes of poetry by Murray Lachlan Young. I must admit to being rather sceptical about the whole idea of poetry. There'a a time and a place for poetry and this was neither. However I was pleasently surprised. The poems were all very comical, and the delivery of them was superb. Whenever the next MLS tour is I think Murray should become an integral part of it.

Finally we get to My Life Story. The sound was muffled and the set was far too short. However I did have the pleasure of attending the gig with 2 My Life Story virgins. They on the other hand though it was the most fantastic thing they had ever seen, which I suppose it probably was.
